American science-fiction film. 2 h 24. On 2015. French exit: October 21st, 2015. During an expedition on march, the astronaut Mark Watney is left for death by his team mates, a storm having made them take off immediately. But Mark survived and he is alone from now on, without means to leave again, on a hostile planet. He is going to have to call his intelligence and his smartness to try to survive and to find a way to contact the Earth. In 225 million kilometres, NASA and scientists of the whole world work non-stop to save it, while his team mates try to organise a mission to recover it at the risk of their lives. Alone on march an adaptation of the first novel of Andy Weir is (published in 2011). I did not read the novel (even if it interests me strongly) but I always liked science-fiction films and these last years, the cinema gave us of nice feelings, notably with Interstellar and Gravity. Alone on march then seem to be THE science-fiction film of the year to be seen. However, in spite of my attraction for this type of cinema, I was not sure of going to see this film. Indeed, even if Ridley Scott remains a very big film director, I willy-nilly do not like all that he makes (even I love some of his films but let us say that I do not find the regular fellow) and I have never gone to the cinema see one of the films because it was it which had accomplished him. It can seem to you very stupid but I found (it is besides always case) the so ugly poster that I really had an impression that it was border of a turnip (I do not know if it is me but this poster makes me think of the cases of the old VSH of the nineties!). Finally, having discovered good criticisms, that it is on behalf of the press or of the my friends blogueurs, I told myself that it was however necessary to attract experience even if I did not think to go to see a masterpiece.
Only for the small precision, further to problems of timetables, I had to go to see the film there 3D while I really feel a pain with this. Finally, even if this is of no use, it was not willy-nilly my worst experience with this gadget (and it is the first one that I tested the 3D with subtitles, this is of no use but I am going to say it: it is of the bomb to see words going out of the screen!). Otherwise, on the whole, even if it is not about a big film, I really loved this Only one on march. I went with the intention of amusing myself and really the film is a good entertainment, what is already not so wrong as this. Certainly, he is not perfect but he remains done well in his type. And still, I would almost succeed in excusing some defects, anyway, I understand behind step. For example, I must confess that I found a bit long film but I do not see how this film would have been able to be shorter, it was well necessary to display history, to show also this question of length (because it is just all problem put down in the film: how to save somebody facing limited time?). I would not say that the film is pro-American in Michael Bay for example but that's true that it takes back all good old habits which so much like Americans, of type everybody congratulates himself and embraces each other and waffle. OK, needs to be made there, it is life even if there is a dégueu either. It is as necessary to confess as, contrary just to the films which I named, there are fewer stakes perhaps, anyway they are perhaps less intense because they the film is finally rather quickly known how are going to end. Afterwards, is it indeed completely a defect? I do not think. Indeed, recently just, science-fiction films were however rather dark. 英文小说在线阅读,包含儿童英语小说、世界名著、英语奇幻小说、英语科幻小说、英语侦探小说、英语名人传记、计算机. The actress shows new layers and vulnerability in a film that's more than just "Eat Pray Love for 127 Hours". And yet this one has something solar. This aspect notably passes by its aesthetic choices. In passage, all technical and aesthetic choices are really incredible without this being too much. In short, the film has something positive, in a sense, it would be even possible to say that it is rather about a feel good movie in the space. I besides appreciated a lot all humour keys inlaid throughout scenario. Then certainly, really, the rereading of Robinson Crusoë would have been able to be reinforced but I completely adhered to this choice of lightness. Even the characters all have something positive, everybody is rather cool. Certainly, the character represented by Jeff Daniel is not willy-nilly THE nice of history but to caricature I find it difficult to classify him completely among the villains or the rottenness, let us say that I understand the point of view of the character. It would have been able to be embarrassing from a narrative point of view but I find once again that this works. What I want to tell, it is what I understand that there are things which could bother some audience, I understand more negative or mitigated criticisms but I adhered to all these choices for me more than defensible. Finally, Alone on march benefit from a very good casting. Of course, they think first of all of the interpretation of Matt Damon. He is as often very good, very persuasive and always announces his sympathy and his good mood, of blow he returns his character even more engaging than he is him already on the paper. But all supporting roles are good and especially (anyway, it is what hit me), I find very consistent casting while on the paper I would not have necessarily imagined all these actors coming from rather different horizons to play in the same film. accomplished by Peter Greenaway. with Elmer Bäck, Luis Alberti, Maya Zapata, Lisa Owen, Stelio Savante …. original title: Eisenstein in Guanajuato. Dutch, Mexican, Finnish, Belgian biopeak. 1 h 45. On 2015. French exit: July 8th, 2015 (cinema) / September 1st, 2015 (Dvd). was seen as part of the new operation of Dvdtrafic de Cinetrafic. I encourage you to go to see some links which will give you some ideas: and. Of course, a huge thanks to (here is also to them). In 1931, newly turned away by Hollywood and commanded to come back to USSR, the film-maker Sergueï Eisenstein goes to Guanajuato, to Mexico, to make his new film there, That Viva Mexico! Chaperoned by his guide Palomino Cañedo, he burns himself in the contact of Eros and of Thanatos. His creative genius thinks there it is exacerbated and his strongly flustered intimacy. Confronted with inherent desires and with fright with love, with sex and with death, Eisenstein lived in Guanajuato ten passionate days who is going to confuse the rest of the life. This can seem a bit ashamed to confess it from the part of a cinema enthusiast but I am going to say to everything to you during this column: I saw no film of Eisenstein (OH MY GOD!). Besides, until now, I had seen no film of Peter Greenaway! In short, being facing my film lack of culture, I wanted to know about it a little more about Eisenstein (even if I had already read documents or articles on the fellow), I had no time to watch at least a film of its career but I made everything to look at extracts of its films (Internet magic) and to reread some papers once again on him. I took this step with the intention of being able to be objective, anyway, to avoid being completely of bad faith. That being said, in spite of my efforts, I think that to know badly the Russian film-maker will not change much in my opinion very negative. However, I felt like liking this film with obvious aesthetic qualities even if they can irritate. Indeed, it is possible to miss flamboyant colours of Mexico, nor next to very electrical assemblage (plans chain themselves to a speed!) nor in the mixture between invention and documentary (archive pictures are judiciously inserted with the pictures of invention in split screen, the aesthetic return is anyway very interesting and does not shock finally), nor in the classical music which often intervenes. As I said it to you, I discover the job of Greenaway. They have a feeling that he wants to occupy broad areas, there is a precision also in the job of production. In short, there is something immoderate and extreme in this film, what with nothing negative or positive, it is simply an official report. This choice seemed consistent in comparison with the size of Eisenstein. Eisenstein is besides introduced as a hysterical character – even if they receive well his bashfulness, which speaks a lot (and even if he speaks finally never same Russian when he speaks with Russian, loud sound accent also contributes to return this character even more exacerbated). The film has anyway an agreeable aesthetics even if it quickly finds its borders and both main actors, Elmer Bäck and Luis Alberti, are very good, but group did not please me. To be honest, I even found it difficult to go at the end of work The film is perhaps called That Viva Eisenstein! but I would not say That Viva Greenaway! …I willy-nilly did not expect to see a film on life from A to Z of Eisenstein, besides the film is rather introduced officially over a definite period of his life, that is to say during filming of Than Viva Mexico! (suspense in Mexico!). Already, they will not see much this filming. Token I was a bit disappointed but after all, I told myself that this filming was only a pretext to speak about something else. I open my mind, I accept the subjects which will be able to be approached. I understand fast that the film is going to turn around sexuality, around death and around freedom, in short things which speak to everybody. Except that in final Peter Greenaway so much wants to speak about more universal things and even at the bottom more personal than he has air to shrug it off completely of his Eisenstein. All that interests him is to speak about sexuality, even about homosexuality, according to what I understood, of topics which are important for it. Once again, I have nothing against this. That being said, there are ways to approach some subjects. And you know (if you are regulars of the blog) that I do not like when I feel seeing completely free stages and I even less like claim. No bowl for Greenaway. For me, That Viva Eisenstein! is meant to be clever while in reality it would be rather about intellectual masturbation. Term suits finally very well for this provocative film, which would get Adèle's Life for an episode of the Club Dorothée! I have nothing against the stages of bare, even of love, and it doesn't much matter if the characters are hétéros, homosexuals or bi (I prefer telling, that I am not accused of any things!). But to see a completely bare guy several stages in a row a little knocked me the system (then yes it is a film on sexual awakening but ok it is free and this does not give proof so much of bitas!) and sex scenes (pornographic, it is possible to say it without going too far) who lasted one fill finished me! Worse, during these stages in question, the characters begin (Encoooore) a new dialogue pseudo philosophical-existential! There is an instant when I dropped affair, I did not succeed even any more in listening to dialogues around Eros and Thanatos, this empty talk filled me, I do not support when I feel being taken to be a bloody idiot. The film is not so long as this but to you ace the impression that it lasts three hours! Then I know that it is possible to have an impression that I am focused on step much but for me just it is this small knack in question which spoils all potential of a nice plan. Finally, all aesthetic efforts of the world serve nothing when they are facing so many hollow purposes (but they want to show us the opposite, clever the héhé Peter!) and worse: themselves become finally free and gonflants, they do not help even any more to support any purpose. Created by Jean-François Halin, Jean-André Yerles, Claire Lemaréchal. with Hugo Becker, Wilfred Benaiche, Christophe Kourotchkine, Karim Barras, Bruno Paviot, Jean-Edward Bodziak, Mathilda Warnier, Josephine de la Baume, Marie-Julie Baup, Antoine Gouy …. French funny series. 1st season. On 2015. The beginning of 1960s. French secret services recruit the young person André Merleaux, back from Algeria. André forms to true spies more preoccupied by their notes of expenses than by their mission. The road is long to become a spy worthy of 007 in labyrinthine, kafkaesque and absolutely certain service of French supremacy on the world. Arte diffused at the end of October until last mid-November the first season of In The service of France. This series was created by Jean-François Halin, scriptwriter of the OSS 117 (of Michel Hazanavicius) and all episodes were accomplished by Alexander Courtes, known to have accomplished many pop videos videos and also turned several segments of. This first season includes twelve episodes, each during barely about twenty minutes, just like a sitcom (even if, in spite of format and humour, it would not be possible to say that it is about a sitcom). I must confess that the rather cold reception of the audience surprised enough me even if series has its defects. Indeed, I read very negative comments, notably on Allocine, and audiences really took a sacred blow in next to no time: first week, series had united more than a million audience and from the second week there remained only the half there! Moreover, I am not sure that there is a second envisaged season, even if personally I would really like to know the continuation of history, especially having looked at the very last episode, filled with suspense! On the whole, I admit the imperfections of this series: I did not get bored because episodes are short and are however very amusing (anyway, in that direction I was summer satisfied) but really series meets some small problems of rhythm and the caricature, however odd (I will come back there), the war of Algeria) however very important too much gains the upper hand on the thickness of the characters and sometimes erases historical context (to understand the attitude of the characters. Only the last episodes, more dramatic, indeed ask questions on the difficult past of France. That being said, look carried over 1960s is very pertinent and somewhere, it is thanks to this caricature. Indeed, there is always a very positive picture of this epoch (you know, the famous «it was before better!» ) while series just reminds that it was also marvellous: the women did not have any more freedom, they were too nationalist even if it means being racist, Algeria was French and he was – of course – out of question that she could become independent just as other French colonies. Some people showed even still their support of the regime of gingham! It is this gap with our actuality very different from what it was possible to imagine in the epoch which is odd. Moreover, even if there was an evolution politically and socially, 1960s share a huge common point with our epoch: the administration of course! It is for me the most successful point of this series. In fact, and it is what would give proof some vague instants around historical context (even if once again, it would have been worth being reinforced), they are very far from the idea of the secret agent which acts and kills the enemy: the secret agents are here more persons who sign papers, want to finish at the right time, not to answer the telephone because otherwise job is still worked and it is hard, or else they are on strike for for trifling claims! Certainly, the criticism of the administration is not new but she remains however percussive in sense where she underlines well all stupidity and especially its absurdity. This absurdity also works thanks to tasty retorts, some is even rather notable! There is even a mechanical side in these retorts (anyway in the way to send them) which contributes to this absurdity and of blow (anyway, personally speaking) gates walk. Otherwise, I think that I succeeded in sticking on this series thanks to the reconstitution of epoch. Certainly, there still, some features can seem magnified but on the whole I find that they succeed well however in plunging in this epoch, that it is thanks to costumes or decors but also thanks to the way the characters express themselves! I do not know if I am clear but I am going to try to be her: in some films or series of epoch, there try unsuccessfully to be there heaps of nice decors etc, sometimes I find the too contemporary diction of the actors. Certainly, I have lived of course never in 1960s but by watching films of this epoch, the actors had an identifiable, rather particular diction in this period. I find that all good actors, anyway casting seemed to me consistent. Some people reproached Hugo Becker (alias for André Merleaux) to be too smooth. That's true that he has something smooth, notably physically, but it is a rather logical choice in comparison with what he represents – that is to say a first young person who could be the ideal son-in-law, who not connait yet much (a bit old-fashioned) life and who is going to begin breaking loose from all ideas which the society of epoch put in him at the head. For me, and one widely compensated for it by the interpretation of Becker the smooth side is finally only an appearance which really finds good tone to approach his character. I am not going willy-nilly to stay over all casting because this would be unnecessarily long, I wanted righteous man to come back on the trio formed by Karim Barras, Jean-Edward Bodziak and Bruno Paviot, representing the agents who form Merleaux: they are really hilarious in sodden agents who tell huge silly remarks. To conclude, In The service of France is not perhaps perfect but I have it however amusing in spite of his problems of rhythm, odd, even daring casually and interpreted well. I do not know if this will be made but she deserves for me a second season!accomplished by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi. with Jemaine Clement, Taika Waititi, Jonathan Brugh, Cori Gonzales-Macuer, Stuart Rutherford, Jackie Van Beek, Well Fransham, Elena Stejko …. original title: What We Do in the Shadows. New Zealand comedy. 1 h 22. On 2014. French exit (E-cinema): October 30th, 2015. Plate would like that vampires live in old castles in Transylvania. It is not however the case of Viago (379 years), Deacon (183 years), Vladislav (862 years) and Peter (8000 years), that established a corenting in Wellington, in New Zealand. Together, they have to overcome the small worries of the daily, such as the good sharing out of domestic duties, or else their constant thirst for blood. Modern life adds a lot of inconveniences to the habitual problems of mirror and of sunlight …. (summary found on). Vampires in any intimacy (it is what this title seriously which gives desire to run away?) which was at origin a short (always by the same film directors), met a pretty success in the world to the point where a second shutter would be already envisaged! Alas, in France, he went out only in e-cinema while he was really worth being broadcast in rooms (especially when they see certain deride in cinema, let us pass). Worse, the French version is assured by Nicolas and Bruno (with voices of Alexander Astier, Fred Testot, Bruno Salomone, Zabou Breitman, Julie Ferrier or else Jérémie Elkaïm) who simply did not content themselves with dubbing the film: it is practically about a misappropriation of the original film. So, the characters carry French forenames, history takes place in Transfer, dubbing is voluntarily bad etc I do not say that this misappropriation is not odd, even if it is not willy-nilly my trip. Perhaps that this version will make laugh some receptive audience in this type of humour. I just prefer adding that it is first better to look at Vampires in any intimacy in original version captioned before knocking each other about possibly the French version because for me V. would be limit another separate film which draws inspiration from the New Zealand comedy. I really preferred making this parenthesis which seemed to me essential, especially to appreciate Vampires better in any intimacy in its fair value. Border I should have put by way of title for my ticket the original title of the film What We Do in the Shadows to make differentiation well between these two versions. In short, all this to say that it is really regrettable to miss this remarkable too unobserved passed horrific comedy in France (in spite of marketing blow with Bruno and Nicolas). It is of a kind of forgery-documentary (one not connait not the identity of the team of filming – they just know that she is provided with crucifix to be able to protect himself) who follows a group of vampires, coming from different epochs, living in corenting in Wellington at present. The first part follows then the daily of the characters by resuming and by visiting again although all codes of the vampires one connait however already: so, vampires remain invisible facing a mirror, they has to be invited so that they could enter a place (to enter a nightclub, they insist very heavily to the bouncers to invite them so that they could enter), they sleep of course in coffins and have to go out at night to go hunting to be able to drink some blood to name only these examples. The whole is blended with all what they know and what they imagine on the corenting: difficult co-habitation with persons of different generations, sharing out of tasks, problem of cleanness (especially when they want to kill people) etc The idea in itself is really nice but the film would have been able to turn very quickly in a circle. But by making intercede later in scenario one of their victims who was transformed into vampire and who includes their band, bringing back his friend so computer scientist, outright human being (and who also becomes buddy with vampires!) scenario finds a true dynamism. Beyond history in itself very nice, Vampires in any intimacy exploit, please, all its good ideas while they would have been able to be just nice on the paper. Already, it is necessary to say it about entrance: I found the film really odd from start to finish. Everything really seems thoughtful: features of vampires are certainly "magnified" (the dandy, the sexual animal, a kind of Nosferatu etc), there is caricature willy-nilly a bit but it stops where he is needed, this does not become either ridiculous and the characters have however behind a thickness (the characters being very engaging while they have however their bad sides!). What is also very successful, it is to see how elements of the daily, which can be banal, seem now on disproportional, of type they argue by flying in air or else the characters prick a crisis because one of them left the opened curtain. The form of the film, that is to say in form of "documentary" with camera in the shoulder, is a true trump (and not just a gadget possibly) in sense where some stages are even more ludicrous than they should it be it (it is even possible to speak about parody of the programmes of television-reality, notably with plans way "confessional"). Besides, this technique allows history to be more authentic and especially the spectator feels even closer to characters. I could spend hours saying all that I liked in this film but purpose is not either to reveal all gates! To make quickly made, I found retorts really very odd and I really adhered to the humour, a kind of very successful mixture between absurd, kitsch, gap, second degree and voluntary stupidity! You should not either forget that this humour works because it is blended with horror. So, the film really finds a good balance between both types and every type feeds other one. There are of course heaps of films which use this technique (it will be possible to think of Shaun of the of Dead d' Edgar Wright or more recently to The Voices de Marjane Satrapi) but he really arrives I also think that feature-length film works because he is short (border too short seen as I got a foothold!) and very rhythmic, of blow not only they get bored in no way but I also think that gags have some more effects than envisaged! Finally, all actors (misread in France) are very good, notably both film directors of the film: Jemaine merciful, more known for the group and the series Flight of the Conchords, and Taika Waititi, which begins however having a pretty course even if its name says nothing at first glance: named to Oscars in 2005 for its short Two Cars, One Night, he is also Boy film director, obviously very reputed and according to what I understood, should accomplish the fellow Thor. Practically one month ago, more precisely on Saturday, October 24th, I left my South to go to Paris (whoopee, I found the joy of the TGV). With some members of my family, also very fans of Marty, I went that day to exhibition (and I also used my Parisian stay to go to visit the Louvre – splendid but exhausting – and the National Museum of Arts Asiatiques-Guimet – really great) opened to the public since last October 14th and which will come to an end on February 14th of this year (would Martin Scorsese be a big romantic? OK, ok, I go out). It was not the first time when I went to the French Film archive: indeed, I had already gone in spring on 2011 for the exhibition devoted to Stanley Kubrick there (and who was absolutely brilliant). I then prefer saying it about entrance: my opinion on the expo Scorsese suffered a small comparison with that of Kubrick. At the beginning it was not willy-nilly voluntary but while preparing my column I realised that I was not necessarily objective on my day. I reassure you: I liked this exhibition. As fan (and it is not a word in air – I practically saw the integral of the long - lengths of Scorsese and I even saw some of its documentaries), it was willy-nilly a happiness to meet with all these documents around films which I so much like! I found very rewarding group, I particularly wanted to see my own eyes some letters signed by big personalities, extracts of annotated scenarioes, sketches, the costume of Cate Blanchett in Aviator or else the Gold palm (for Taxi Driver) to name only these examples. However, I either did not find perfect exhibition. Already, it is necessary to say it: when I went there, there was a lot of people, what was logical since exhibition had barely opened its doors ten days before and in more they were still in school holiday. I can therefore criticise the whole Earth, that is to say neither the persons who could only move in this period in question, nor in the Film archive (finally perhaps a bit but not completely). However, I think that there are however problems of organisation within exhibition, anyway I just reappraise the way to have conceived it. It is necessary to know that exhibition is organised by topics, that is to say the family, mafia, religion It was not stupid, far off and it is sometimes a pertinent choice. I however wondered if it was not a means to camouflage some absences of documents. Indeed, and attention, I understand perfectly the possible difficulty of the organizers, I think that some films had not to have enough documents, not so as to dedicate a whole "chapter", as it was case for the exhibition Kubrick which introduced chronologically every film of its career. Afterwards, I am clear: Kubrick kept absolutely all its documents, what indeed helped the Film archive to display them on three floors! Besides, Scorsese really has many films in its assets, it would have been undoubtedly complicated to speak individually about every film. Having said that, I was however frustrated not to see any films put forward and especially I find it damage to have organised exhibition on a floor only. Suddenly, they come out again a bit from there by claiming «to be yours, already finished?» but especially it indeed creates corks, what is very hard, especially when there is a lot of people within the same room. Moreover, even if as fan I came out again delighted because I was in a world which I liked and what I knew, exhibition seemed to me more intended towards persons who did not know necessarily the films of Scorsese. I notably pointed it out by noticing dumbfounded people by discovering extracts of the long - lengths. Certainly, somewhere, it is a nice initiative, it is brilliant if people felt like discovering its filmography, if this can help some to enrich their culture cinema, but once again, by pushing people to be focalized on screens, there were corks as a result. It is damage to have put these videos in the middle of rooms, I think that this would have more judicious to put them to one side. I know that it is possible to think that my opinion is to hyper negative while this is not the case. Honestly, I very much liked this exhibition, I really do not regret having seen it, I came out again from there as one rascal. But I have just wanted to express two just - three things which seemed to me clumsy, even if I am aware that I wrote on far too many lines. I have just felt like making share my day, give my impressions, know if those who went had the same opinion there as me or not and perhaps to help in a sense people who would like to go there so that they could organise this exit. I also use it to encourage you to discover the Museum of the Film archive which I thought absolutely brilliant! Anyway, in spite of imperfections, I always like so much exhibitions of the French Film archive and I will go back there when I could him with a huge pleasure. accomplished by Hirokazu Kore-Eda. with Haruka Ayase, Masami Nagasawa, Kaho, Suzu Hirose, Ryo Kase …. original title: Umimachi Diary. Japanese drama. 2 h 07. On 2014. French exit: October 28th, 2015. Three sisters, Sachi, Yoshino and Chika, live together in Kamakura. As requires, they go to the funeral of their father, who had left them about fifteen years before. They make then the acquaintance of their stepsister, Suzu, 14-year-old. By common consent, the young women decide to welcome the orphan in the big family home …. I have not looked at the totality of its filmography yet but I begin casually knowing the job of Hirokazu Kore-Eda. I am huge one fan of Nobody Knows and Still Walking, I love Such Father, Such Son and I love also I Wish very much (roughly, I liked all that I could see until now, I tried to make a kind of organisation into a hierarchy in my preferences). It is for this reason that I went to see her last feature-length film, Our small sister, introduced in competition in the last Cannes film festival (chaired by Joel and Ethan Coen). It is about the adaptation of the manga Kamakura Diary d' Akimi Yoshida. I really liked this feature-length film even if I understand its absence in the honours list of Cannes. I do not think that it is about the best film of the Japanese film director. First of all, even if I either did not get bored, it is the first time that I feel length in a film of Kore-Eda. Besides, according to me, a little of narrative stake would be missing to this film. Certainly, there were not either masses in the other films because he always played on the side "slice of life " (yes, I prick you your expressions!) that is it is especially necessary to be allowed to transport by the even banal simple daily of the characters. There was not either in the previous films of extraordinary events. Having said that, I had however had feeling always that there was a direction in the films behind these "slices of life ", that there was a point A going towards a point B: it will notably be possible to think of tragic exit in Nobody Knows, which is the consequence of the daily of the children delivered to themselves, to trip by train in I Wish or else the final decision of the not biological father in Such father, such son. Attention, I do not say either that the film goes nowhere but I would say that the way to lead the film towards a direction seemed to me ricketier than usually. That being said, it did not prevent me from liking this film and somewhere I understand this rickety side for which I "reproach " to him however. As would say it (I do not know why, I have decided today to prick expressions in blogueurs, however the inspiration is there!), it is of a «film candy», it would be also possible to speak of «film river» (but I love expression «film candy» because they really find all sweet and acidulous side of the world of Kore-Eda!). Roughly, it is especially necessary to be allowed to transport by a loving and soft atmosphere, to become attached to the characters and especially to enter little by little the daily of this delightful family. Even if the film lacks intrigue (once the last baby joined her three elder sisters in their villa), I left myself loaded by this history because the story remains nonetheless fluid. So, even if it is not necessarily my favourite Kore-Eda, they find all ingredients which make the charm of its films without having an impression of déjà vu or leaving us: delicacy and virtuousness are in appointment for our biggest good. Finally, from these elements a true emotion is born. Certainly, that's true that everything seems very positive even Bisounours in the middle of this sororité (it is me or it is strange to write this word? Humph I almost feel like speaking about brotherhood, if there are people who feel like playing Bescherelle Ta Mère, it is the instant to intervene!) but I did not find the stupid film (because «film candy» is not linked to stupidity sorry, mallow on the contrary, it is dégueu, token, you follow my culinary logic?) and even less lachrymose. Even if the topic of the family remains omnipresent in filmography, I find that Kore-Eda succeeds however in renewing itself, in finding a new breath by staging a finally not banal family: there are only modern young women (with a young teenager) who compose this family. Any person indeed with parent's status am not however present and four women takes out very well, they managed to create their own family, even in a sense a full community. It is from there that I am once again going to attenuate my purposes on the lack of intrigue (or rather, to reformulate better my idea, on its lack of evolution of intrigue, it is perhaps more clear) who sometimes put me down problem because paradoxically (and I do not say this to defend the film at all costs because as you know it already, I do not hesitate to speak ill of a film even if I love all other films of a film director) it what I reproach for to him is however also a high quality, something that pleased me: I liked this representation of the daily. Certainly, it is not willy-nilly something once again but for me it is always about a challenge and for me Kore-Eda takes it up more than well in spite of consequences which I have already displayed. Frankly, I felt well during session with this family, I felt like eating good flat babies with her (I really had the slab this lasted more than two hours, good blood). Anyway the report between the sisters, although he could seem too benevolent for some audience, touched a lot me and more generally (without wanting write a great sentence boat), I find that it is about an ode to the women. Besides, thanks to a well-manicured and elegant production, the film puts forward the Japanese countryside and it is also this splendid natural decor which contributes to this abatement which is felt throughout the film. Finally, Our small sister benefits from a very good female casting. Every actress represents well her character, each having her own personality and her character, it is possible each to identify them with a small knack and however no girl is grotesque. accomplished by Yorgos Lanthimos. with Hake Farrell, Rachel Weisz, Jessica Barden, Olivia Colman, Ashley Jensen, Ariane Labed, Angeliki Papoulia, John C. In close future Every single person is arrested, transferred to the Hotel and has 45 days to find the soul mate. When the time expires, she will be transformed into the animal of her choice. To avoid this destiny, a man runs away and joins in wood a group of resistance fighters; the Loners. The Lobster, retorted with the Price of jury in the last Cannes film festival (chaired by the brothers Coen), is the first film of the Greek film director Yorgos Lanthimos turned in English. His passage of Cannes as well as his dream casting allowed this film to become famous more and rightly. Indeed, even if I found him some defects, I very much liked this rather strange film and which will not perhaps please everybody. For my part, among the things that I less liked, I found the too long film. I however got bored but that's true that I smelt some length. Musical topic is also too repetitive and not always used well, what can end up irritating. Finally, without wanting be malicious, by pity, why Léa Seydoux also play so badly? Why does she recite her text stupidly as though she had just learnt her? Otherwise, except these three main elements which are, according to me, defects, I really really liked this film which reminds of course a lot of the world of George Orwell, (notably with the presence of the room 101 1984 or else even in The Farm of the Animals) or else to that of Franz Kafka (also for animal metaphor and also for its absurdity). The Lobster will be able to unsettle because it is necessary to confess that some outlines of history remain vague. However, even some people will be able to doubt the job of the scriptwriters in comparison with this vagueness, I think that scenario is voluntarily vague so that the spectator could identify this world with his own world, finally so absurd as that offered by Yorgos Lanthimos. Personally, I think that it is finally more the bottom which spoke me that however interesting form (the production pleased me for its precision and its coldness and seems just consistent with defended reflexion) but with the instants of fragility. It is then interesting to see how both parts answer and give a very fair explanation on love: so, the first part, which takes place in the hotel, shows that it is not possible to force people to like each other. The second, which takes place within the forest, supports the fact that it is not either possible to prevent people from liking each other: things finally have to arrive when they have to arrive. From this official report, several things indeed pleased me: first of all, I found that the passage in the second part was not violent, it happens in a rather natural way, while the division in two parts would have been able to be rather heavy and too pressing. Especially, when the first part is looked, it would have been possible to expect to discover the Loners as the "nice" of history given that they are dispelled by the team of the Hotel and that they are seen as resistance fighters facing the dictatorship imposed on the single men. And yet the Loners represent a form of dictatorship themselves and are so much ridiculous as those who manage the fate of the single men to the Hotel (the ridiculous passer-by notably by means of music). I therefore appreciated that they avoid a Manicheism which would have however been able to exist. Besides, the echo in the binary system so much defended by the totalitarian system of the Hotel works really well thanks to this very structure binary. It is besides interesting to see when "concept" is pushed in sense where in the film introduce the world in which there is no nuance. For example, they are either heterosexual, or homosexual, it is not possible to be bisexual. With a high efficiency, The Lobster recalls our society not so free as this, that dictates behaviour and thought of the individuals so as to persuade them that there is only the single vision of possible life. How not to think of our current society which advocates life for two at all costs life for two, as though to live the only was a tare? But also, how do not think of this kind of mode of these new single men who just refuse any possibility of living for two just on principle? They will think of course of dating sites or even speed-dating too with a vision restrained by couple relations, notably by putting in the head of people that it needs for every price that the future partner has the same tastes or shares common points necessarily. Moreover, metaphors (even allegories) would have also could be too much supported but tone appeared to me enough only for whom they do not fill to us either. So, the "representation" of the animalisation is very interesting in sense where just they will never see the transformation of an individual into animal once he arrived at the end of his stay. The only thing which attaches us to this transformation and therefore to this end disaster is the brother of David, transformed into dog. Those who fail try to be linked to life bearing a grudge to be transformed into dog, faithful animal of the man, or else, into lobster to (the lobster) because as explains him David, it is about an animal who has seen for a long time, in the water and that he can reproduce a lot. But he did not think that this choice was in double sharp side: the lobster can have legs also broken or be taken over. He also is to interest to see that it is the disability which would unite two individuals. For me, the disability of the characters would be a representation of these criteria which would be wrongly allocated to the individuals to persuade them to put on together while they are not willy-nilly made to like themselves in spite of common points. Worse, relations for two are seen as a lie and a phantasm because by persuading them to be similar that his partner, people are forced to become somebody else. And of course, the disability by way of common points between individuals has something absurd. Just, by speaking of this, by introducing us an absurd world, it is then logical that humour displayed by Yorgos Lanthimos is itself absurd, but I would also say that there is cynicism even of black humour. Certainly, I will not say that I was folded in two (at the same time, it was not the purpose of the film) but the humour keys are rather efficient in sense where they support where this hurts. Somewhere, even if it is not willy-nilly case seemingly, I found the moving film, notably last minutes of the film, very notable. Moreover, even if I can understand that this narrative technique could irritate some audience (I was besides at the beginning rather sceptical), the voice-over really seems to take a very new dimension once they arrive at the end of feature-length film. Outside Léa Seydoux, I found very good casting, especially of course at the head (I am not going to name it all, they are not going to take out any more) Hake Farrell, certainly much less glamorous than usually, but remarkable as well as his partner Rachel Weisz, very moving. I had already written a small message further to the assassination attempts of Charlie Hebdo, it seemed to me logical to write once again a short article on what took place yesterday. I do not feel like writing sentences boat and plate, fair desire to say to what extent I am shocked and sad. My South I feel like supporting and I address to all Parisians and other unhappy persons who attended or were in the middle of this massacre a huge and sincere thought as well as all my condolences to the families of the victims. I canceled voluntarily the criticism of What We Do in the Shadows envisaged this morning (which will indeed be published at the end of the month seen circumstances) and I will take back the blog that next Wednesday just to delay us very slowly our emotions (even if it is not in two - three days that they recover of this, I am well aware of it) and try at least to bring a little of escape and joy even if I know that it is not easy. I decided that it was nonetheless necessary to continue living and not agreeing to these monstrous criminals (that being said, I understand and support completely the blogueurs who decides to take even more time than me and who would not really feel like writing). Let us remain united. accomplished by Julie Delpy. with Julie Delpy, Dany Boon, Vincent Lacoste, Karin Viard, Antoine Lounguine, Elise Larnicol, Juliet Lamet, Karl Lagerfeld, Frederick Beigbeder, Ramzy Bedia, Georges Corraface …. Comédie Française. 1 h 40. On 2014. French exit: October 28th, 2015. In thalasso in Biarritz with his best friend, Violet, Parisian quadra working in fashion, meet Jean - Come back to life, a modest newly divorced computer scientist. After years of loneliness, she is allowed to entice. He joins her in Paris, trying to fit to the Parisian microcosm in which she evolves. But it is without counting on Milk presence, beloved Violet son, ready for everything to destroy the rising couple and to keep his favourite place. I have not looked at the entirety of the filmography of Julie Delpy yet as film director (I have seen Looking for Jimmy nor Skylab yet) but those whom I could see pleased me really, anyway me really sticks on the world of Julie Delpy. I try to be a spectator "faithful" to his job and it is only for this reason that I moved see his last film Milk in the cinema. I try unsuccessfully loved the job of Delpy, the Milk trailer had me border scares off, I found that this made too how say to this? Comédie Française what (if you see what I want to tell, I do not want to be malicious, sorry). But I however trusted Delpy, I told myself that she had talented enough so that the film is a little more than this, that you should not trust trailers at all times and put aside his a priori. Alas, even if there is nothing ashamed and than I passed one rather right time in front of this film, Milk remains however a small disappointment, especially when they know of what is capable Julie Delpy. I had an impression that they had lost during a little more than 1 h 30 Julie of films indie between Woody Allen and Jean-Luke Godard. Certainly, its leg is smelt from time to time but bearing a grudge accomplish a more popular comedy (what has nothing negative on the base but that, in my opinion, is not something that resembles his personality), all good ideas, things to be said in general which would have been able to seem pertinent do not have so much force as it would have been possible to hope for it. Julie Delpy wanted to treat these eternal subjects (however always of actuality) on difference between social classes and unhealthy relations between a mother and her son. Certainly, it is always so agreeable to see however a film director from a good middle criticising the stupidity of bobos, their absurd prejudices notably on the provincials (type Biarritz is for them a provincial city) or else the finally barely exaggerated caricature by their parties (notably the party mode with Karl Lagerfeld in the underground or Frederick Beigbeder who introduces a kitchen programme!). Even if it is not willy-nilly new once again, it is also so really great always to see a nasty rascal psychopath who rips everybody off and who does his shit well as he is needed, because of a love more than unhealthy towards his mother. Of course that all that causes to smile even to make laugh by instants (even if I was not either folded in four), there are really smelt retorts, the film has some conversational freshness, group is far from being unpleasant but reflexion goes very far, not as much as it would have been possible to wish it. As a result, deep lack harms a bit the humour which is not as creaking as it would have been possible to hope for it. Suddenly, there is feeling just to have looked at a simple romantic comedy a little less culcul than average. If group remains amusing, there is feeling as as Delpy missed this film which seems to me inabouti. I also regret the vulgarity of some dialogues even if they are sometimes odd (for example the stage in the train). Certainly, Julie Delpy is known for her crude language, alas she seems to sometimes tell no more difference between what is crude and vulgar. I am shared as regards the end. I really liked the last stage, finally rather cynical and cruelly for the characters. On the other hand, the way are brought all revelations around this Milk did not seem to me very credible. They have an impression a bit that they arrive a bit just like that because it was well necessary to embed them somewhere, the end approaching in big steps. On the contrary, nothing to say about casting. The interpretation of Dany Boon (which is to sometimes lynched too free – I needed to pass my tiny blow of face) is rather good even surprising in sense where it is not waited in this finally more subtle and softer role, he has even an involuntarily seductive side, I want to tell, I understand why Violet could be enticed by this man who, a priori, is a charmer and especially not his type physically or socially. Julie Delpy is also very persuasive in this bobo neurotic's role (even if she has habit to play this role but ok I confess not to grow tired of this type of character which she represents wonderfully well). But I must confess (personally speaking) that it is especially Vincent Lacoste who breaks loose from the lot in this role of odious manipulative kid even bluntly psychopath. Finally, even if I am not really fan of the character whom she represents, Karin Viard remains however credible in better bobo friend very very liberated sexually. accomplished by Julien Maury and Alexander Bustillo. with Alysson Paradis, Beatrice Dalle, Nathalie Roussel, François - Governed Marchasson, Jean - baptist Tabourin, Dominique Frot, Claude Lulé, Hyam Zaytoun, Tahar Rahim, Emmanuel Guez, Ludovic Berthillot, Emmanuel Lanzi, Nicolas Duvauchelle, Aymen Saïdi …. The film did not meet a huge success in room but however, even if this begins going back up, I remember its promotion when he went out. I knew that this is going to lose blood (making-of on the techniques of making-up had besides enthralled me) but I kept hope that there is something else than litres of haemoglobin, especially as the film was so well defended by his two film directors as well as by both main actresses. I did not expect willy-nilly a masterpiece but at least a correct film, especially as Bustillo is however an ancient journalist in Mad Movies. On the paper, feature-length film is a closed hearing (inside the home) which stages a pregnant young woman on the point to give birth during Christmas period. Except that a tarée wants to disembowel him to recover the child whom she carries (inside its body). In short, it would have been possible to have an interesting reflexion around motherhood with notably an interesting symbolism from this holiday for example. I know in no way if the film directors had a purpose in mind but anyway the pseudo reflexion must appear big max five small minutes! Alas, purpose is especially to see characters bathing in the blood. It is however necessary to say it: scenario is practically nonexistent. The film puts well good half an hour to be started. Sometimes, this can be useful to set history up but this beginning just shows scénaristiques lacunas: roughly, it is well necessary to fill the time up to avoid accomplishing a short. Once they think of the history thrown indeed, finally they realise that it is only the wind. Indeed, once the character interpreted by Beatrice Dalle began attacking the bidou of Alysson Paradis, he does not take place big thing. It is especially about a big game of finally rather foreseeable hide and seek and which bores fast. To fill up the space of scenario, the film directors put stages in chains extremist violent and especially extremist retarded persons of type the murder made by Paradise in the home on a member of its family or else the stage with the cops, however already bashed up and slaughtered, who wake up as zombies facing Beatrice Dalle who resembles a monster. You are going to say me that this would have been able to be interesting to exploit this motive of the monster, perhaps that as the film directors there was a kind of metaphor or something in this type (I try to understand unlikely things, I am not so ugly as this!) but the way to stage the characters returns the just ridiculous stage. Moreover, there are also other stages which I thought were completely stupid: those who "introduce « the baby in the body of Alysson Paradis. I must confess that I nearly howled to laugh when I saw the foetus blubbering or shouting when Beatrice Dalle gave blows in the Paradise belly. To dispose nothing, the pictures which represent this foetus are really ugly. If there was only this that was ugly in this film I do not speak that litres of blood. I think right away of this kind of smoke which pervades this shack most rooms of. Then, there still, perhaps that the film directors had some head in mind in bungled style «the home is as a kind of dream / nightmare» and hop the link with Christmas is made. As they say, why not. There still, I try to understand the incomprehensible but it does not justify the ridiculous even of stages. To dispose nothing, I also met a huge worry with dialogues. It is simple: or I understood nothing because the actors undoubtedly find it difficult to cause correctly or some retorts which I succeeded in understanding are really nazes and almost worthy of a nanar. Best-of baby: "Silly bitch" or else «who would like to kiss a tarée as you?». In some critics whom I could read, many people greeted the interpretations of Slab and Paradise. For my part, I was not very persuaded by their benefits even if I would not shout either in disaster. Beatrice Dalle seems to have been only hired because she has air broken. But I do not find that she plays particularly well, she is even rather grotesque (while, in the interviews which I could read, she is not just supposed to play the "bad woman"). According to what I understood, Alysson Paradis is not supposed to interpret a nice character and she does not shout voluntarily at all times. On the paper, this inversion of features of character would have been able to be very interesting but it really does not help Paradise, even if I am persuaded that she really does not have talented. There is not nuance in the game, she too much wants to return her antipathetic, even aggressive character and they have that a desire: that she dies. A more solid interpretation would perhaps have worked. To conclude, Indoors master key completely next to its small potential and can never exploit its some good ideas which seem to be put in places (or not, since sometimes it is, it seems to me, of my interpretation). Alas, all this seems only to be a pretext to film a butchery without interest and finally more ridiculous than dirty man (even if it is however necessary to feel like hung, but they are made in everything). The only merit of this film? Be short …. Today, I answer graffiti fun and unpretentious of (who has me taguée), at origin having just called literary dinner ". French exit: May 19th, 2015. In 51 years, after 20 months of unemployment, Thierry begins a new job which soon puts him facing a moral dilemma. To keep his job, can he accept everything. Introduced in the last Cannes film festival chaired by the brothers Coen, The Law of the Market met a pretty success to be a not willy-nilly attractive film for the general public: more than 940 000 audience moved in cinemas. It is necessary to say that the price of masculine interpretation of Vincent Lindon (really moving when it received him), actor darling of Stephane Brizé (he had played in his long precedents - lengths, Miss Chambon and Some hours of spring) indeed helped this film met this deserved success. The "feature" of this feature-length film is the fact that this dear Vincent Lindon is the only professional actor of distribution. Indeed, to be more definite, the not professional actors interpret characters who occupy the same professional place except filming. For example, it is true employees of supermarkets that are seen on the screen. Xavier Mathieu, union representative of the CGT-FRENCH TRADE UNION (actor since 2010 is even found in casting, he was seen for example in My part of the cake of Cédric Klapisch or else in series Fairing and Candice Renoir) to reinforce this realistic side, close to what really passes in the daily of a part of Frenchmen. Vincent Lindon delivers a remarkable interpretation in sense where he does not eat the benefit of other actors, he does not feel above, on the contrary, they even have an impression as its game promotes other actors. Especially, without balancing cash, he succeeds in giving force and dignity to this character whom the system however wants to crush. It is just this the success of this film: the way to describe the working world and the capitalist system is achieved in sense where they feel being in a kind of Odyssey. Realism put forward by an almost documentary approach will be able to put some audience off, even irritate them. After all, it will always be possible to ask the film director why he did not accomplish directly a true documentary, especially when they know that Brizé encircled itself with some technicians "specialists « of the documentary: for example, the leader operator of the film had never worked on inventions. With detachment, I think that Stephane Brizé wanted to underline, thanks to invention, all absurdity of this system. Some stages seem surrealist (I notably think of the stage with the banker who offers to the character represented by Lindon who recommends him to take a life insurance «to envisage the future more serenely after its death») and at the same time it is not possible to help telling themselves to what extent all that is seen on the screen is true and even not exaggerated. More achieved still, it is the way to see in which this eating system everybody: there is only the bosses who use this system and lose any notion of humanity: even individuals who belong to the same social category as Thierry want to use the system even if it means crushing the principal character of the film (let us remember the stage of the camper to name only this example). As had also reported it Louis's (good) Discount social comedy - Julian Small (taken out at the beginning of the year), even if you should not make either generality, the film shows very how some pawns of this system (I think of the night watchmen and even the manager of the supermarket there) think to be above everybody because a little power is given them (even if in the final this power is a phantasm). The film is too cold, that it is at the level of the production or in comparison with the job of light (the white is of blow very put forward) but afterwards I understand this choice perfectly in sense where Brizé really stresses a form of déshumanisation because of this system, let us say that he goes at the end of the ideas. The Law of the Market is anyway for me a film to be looked it would be for its pertinent look and of a big correctness on the working world and even I would say about our very short world in which the only means to struggle against this system is to be able to say stop. accomplished by Alejandro Amenábar. with Ethan Hawke, Emma Watson, David Thewlis, Lure Bostick, Dale Dickey, Aaron Ashmore, Lothaire Bluteau, David Dencik, Adam Butcher …. The film director of Others therefore wanted to construct his thriller from the psychology and also from the group of news items which were obviously rather frequent in the United States in the eighties and 90: many business was linked to satanic rituals. I see that this historical point begins preoccupying the authors and film directors since recently Dark Places of Giles Paquet-Brenner (adapted by the novel of Gillian Flynn) also recalled these events in question. On the whole, Regression is a nice small ideal film to amuse itself which has an interesting reflexion but alas group lacks cruelly charm and force, what will be able to surprise and also be disappointing on behalf of Alejandro Amenábar because they know of what it is capable. As regards the twist, I had half guessed it (it is necessary to say that by watching films, they begin understanding some things), that is I had understood who was not clear in this history but a part of my imagination slightly played me turns: there is a kind of bet in abyme that I then thought interesting. A lot of critics underlined plates even exaggerated effects presents in some stages. Certainly, they are not going to fool themselves: all this in Regression is well found. That being said, it is not to excuse these matters in hand in question, but let us say that some elements of scenario explain their presence. On the other hand, I will not really excuse the too flat production to my taste or the too absent aesthetic aspect. Certainly, some sequences are aesthetically achieved enough, I notably think of those with Ethan Hawke who dreams about satanic rituals at night. The making-up of the characters besides made me thought of that of the demon in The Exorcist (of William Friedkin). That being said, except these some sequences, without saying that it is the job of pig or that it is, I expected in better aesthetically, especially when they learn that the film benefited from a 20 million dollar budget I would not say that it is seedy but I could not help being frustrated, saying that there is of what to do something of a little more solid. They have an impression that Amenábar never uses its context in America for example. Certainly, the bottom of history has something universal but when they take some minutes to explain to the audience that the history which is going to follow is is inspired by a series of real facts that took place in definite period in a definite country, I find it regrettable not to use this information in question and not to do something with of more ambitious artistically (afterwards, attention, not just to create pseudo-debates, I do not say that it is necessary to create something completely superficial either even if I do not pretend to do again a film from A to Z). Suddenly, even if the production remains completely correct on the whole, Alejandro Amenábar completely inspired or implicated is not either smelt: I want to tell, apart in approached topics, they willy-nilly do not feel finding the leg of the film-maker. Of blow film is simply (in my opinion nice, regardable, interesting even but group lacks charm even of force. Let us finish this criticism by speaking about casting. Without saying that it is about a big interpretation, always charismatic Ethan Hawke is for me very well in this film just as David Thewlis (who has an also important role even if its name appears on the poster, it should not be enough seller) even if he makes a bit his Professor Lupin. On the other hand, Emma Watson did not persuade me. It is not its interpretation which posed me problem, it is almost about an error of casting. She is supposed to interpret a 17-year-old teenager, and the actress is 25-year-old. I do not criticise her physical appearance, it is besides about a pretty woman but she makes her 25 years, she makes grown-up what! Casually, it takes something away from his character who would have be even more mysterious. That being said, to finish, beyond its popularity (even if in a sense, it can also harm him), I understand on the other hand the choice of this actress because she has an angelic face. Red Rising [Pierce Brown] on Amazon.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • NAMED ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS OF THE YEAR BY. I do not forget. Two years passed. Darrow is not any more a Red risking the life every day in the march mines. He became the Harvestman, a Gold reputation of which is not any more to make. Nothing resists him. However, in the bottom of him, Darrow did not forget. He did not excuse. But he makes a fatal error: he underestimates his enemy. In a flash, Darrow loses everything. At the foot of the wall, Darrow must work out a new strategy Otherwise, all its efforts, all the sacrifices will have been vain. And Eo will have died for nothing. I had loved the first volume, it seems to me even that it was a blow of heart, Golden Delicious Sound was a blow of even more flagrant heart but also a violent punch. This second shutter of Red Rising left me rolled in bowl in my bed as though my life had just ended. I was served in full face all violence of this volume, apparently Red Rising is a series to be put in the hands of public one informed. Darrow and some some of the survivors of the first volume, two years after the end of this last is found. Our hero became Lancer of the family Augustus and tries to make a place in the world of Gold to be able to destroy them of inside. Unfortunately, he is dogged by bad luck and once again back to square one, in exception near that the Bellona family wants the head since he killed Julian since the selections of the institute. Darrow is isolated, his most faithful friends and support are too much far to help him. And to crown the whole, he has no more news of the Threads of Ares. After the intensity of the first volume, the first one left second seemed to me a bit soft and I had found it difficult to come back into history. But once I started the second I could not stop my reading, it is necessary to say that the feather of Pierce Brown is highly addictive in spite of its big violence. I had already found the first rather violent volume, but with second it is 100 times worse, especially the end of the novel which is of a nameless violence. I do not think to be a too sensitive reader but Golden Delicious Sound made me ill. The impact of this novel domiciles due to the fact that they blend in completely with the character of Darrow and due to the fact that suddenly, events which arrive at it make that they feel living them also. And they know very well that the life of Darrow is not the most cheerful who is. I think that the author is one a psychopath in power (a good psychopath, his novels are pure genius) or then, he detests his characters apparently. In Golden Delicious Sound, that it is Darrow, Mustang, Sevro or others. All are served of sacred walls and sacred falls. For oversteer in saga Red Rising, I think that it would be necessary to be capable of not becoming attached to the characters of novels because apparently Pierce Brown is G. R Martin of the dystopie. Knack, it is that it is hard not to love the characters, even the Jackal has something that makes that it is so much appreciated one is not much. In comparison with the first volume, I found that quite a lot of characters had lost in charisma, firstly Darrow who rather well disappointed me in the first time of the novel but also Mustang where I found "girl" too much in comparison with the first volume. My biggest disappointment concerning the characters it is without counting Roque, I absolutely did not expect that it becomes what it became, for me it is a big slap while he was a character whom I appreciated tremendously. To replace enrolments lacking the first volume, Pierce Brown, gives us new very interesting characters, the one who most held my attention a discreet and silent character is unquestionably Ragnar, but who turns out to be very perceptive and in the listening of Darrow but also very opened by mind. The intrigue of the second volume takes dantesque proportions, Darrow can be taken there to take some up against others, but he is very gifted also to underestimate people and to lose the control of the plans, there were flagrant demonstrations in Red Rising. In Golden Delicious Sound, he remains faithful to himself from this point of view. It is also a character who is very easily allowed to manipulate when it is a matter of its emotions. His love song with Mustang makes that I have eyes survey, one or two times in the sky. Apparently they do not give up playing the cat and the mouse and after a while it is tiresome. It is really the only negative point which I find in Golden Delicious Sound. Because level suspense, Pierce Brown offers it to us to sell retail it. I am in order fr aite taken for a walk throughout the novel, without knowing what is going to arrive at the characters. It is frustrating and agreeable at the same time, because they really do not know what is going to occur. Hang your belts, the end of the novel is going to leave you on buttocks and puts you in a state of intense stress by waiting for the third volume. But reassure you, it is envisaged for May. Anyway, I am happy not to have given in to my nasty habit to read the last page of a novel before beginning it. I do not say to you about it more, you will understand when you will have read it. Golden Delicious Its being part of rare better continuation of series than first volume, I encourage you greatly to give in on the appeal of its pages and to submerge you in l are intense adventures of Darrow and his companions. The Newspaper offers you therefore answers to some of the questions which remained on all lips several hours afterwards the delivery of the last gold statuette. Bruno Lapointe, Cédric Bélanger and Raphael Gendron-Martin, The Newspaper Stacey Dash cools down the atmosphere. The biggest feeling of faintness of the party was indisputably the passage of the actress Stacey Dash on the stage. But why had its presence the effect of a cold shower on all the present artists. Last month, Stacey Dash, correspondent in network American FOX TERRIER, answered the debate encircling the lack of diversity within nominations to Oscars by sharing her at least controversial point of view. His solution: the abrogation of American network BET (Black Entertainment Television), as well as its valuable delivery which rewards exclusively the black artists, besides the keeping of the Month of the history of the Blacks. «We must make a decision: either segregation is chosen, they or inclusion is chosen», she announced. While raising that the ceremony was again too long, the Reporter Hollywood praised from his part the try of the producers «to make with Oscars something more important that simply to honour rich people». In spite of all these good comments, it would be amazing that Chris Rock is back in the bar next year. From yesterday, media speculated about the identity of the animator of Oscars 2017.
